We know that what people really want as they journey into older age, is an environment that feels like home.

Supportive, caring staff, compassionate volunteers and dedicated professionals help to make our rest home feel safe, welcoming and warm. We strive to empower all our residents to engage in community life at all stages and abilities, and to meet every day in an environment filled with fun, laughter and dignity. Our services are designed to match the person and the stage they’re at. That means all medical and clinical needs of our residents are assessed and delivered upon as required. Lynden Respite care

Part of the Lynden model allows us to offer suites for short term respite.

When suites are available, Lynden staff will ensure guests feel at home for the duration of their stay, and then support them to return home when they can. If a return to home is not possible, and the guest wishes to remain at Lynden, we will work with the family to find appropriate accommodation as soon as possible.

Total wellbeing – in body and mind.

Daily activities play a crucial role in helping older people remain happy and healthy. No matter what stage they’re at, the Lynden activities schedule is a big part of what our residents love about Lynden. They engage with life – gardening, the fishponds, music, art exhibitions, excursions and much more. Our Emotional Wellness Coordinator ensures that by incorporating the right kind of activities and support into a person’s day we can help to give each resident a lifestyle they cherish.

Delicious home-cooked meals to look forward to

Ageing bodies require high quality, nutritionally balanced meals. Our chef ensures only the best quality, fresh and in season ingredients are chosen to create homely meals for all to enjoy. There are dining opportunities for residents and families, including high tea, and a selection of wine. Meals are prepared fresh daily and served in the resident dining room to encourage getting together for a chit chat over lunch – or if required, served in private suites.
